    Young people aged 13-19 get the opportunity to let their creativity and imagination run wild with a series of free workshops run by BBC Blast. Workshops include Musical Theatre, Vjing, Screen Acting, Street Dance, Photography, Fashion, Stop Frame Animation, Beatboxing and DJing. Also a chance to join MOBO award winner Akala in a hip-hop Shakespeare workshop!!

  • Benjamin Zephaniah

    Benjamin Zephaniah is famous for rejecting an OBE from the Queen in 2003, but he is also famous for some fantastic, inspiring poetry, inspired by the Jamaican rhythms and street voices of his upbringing in Handsworth. He has inspired a generation of readers and fellow writers and done much to change the stuffy image of poetry. Zephaniah is also a dub musician of international standing and this comes through strongly in his performance.
